Welcome to Braeburn Valley Baptist Church

What to Expect

Our worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday mornings.  The congregation is welcoming and warm.

The worship music combines traditional hymns and more contemporary music.

We offer adult Bible study classes beginning at 9:30 am, so come early, check out our class offerings and meet our members.  Our teachers are devoted to the study of God’s word, and class participation is encouraged.   Dress is casual. A nursery is available.

We share our worship and fellowship space with four other congregations throughout the day.  You might hear Kachin or Zomi, both languages of Myanmar (Burma), being spoken.   Not only is our congregation representative of the many people groups in our neighborhood and in Houston, but there are also individual congregations meeting at different times during the day where the Gospel is being shared in their heart language.  If you are interested in any of these services, please check the calendar for times.

We continue to practice safe meeting precautions (see below).  If you are unable to join us in person, check out our "sermon" page where the audio of each week's service is uploaded within 72 hours.

Safe Meeting Precautions

"1. If you do not feel well please remain at home.

2. When you come, please wear a mask. If you do not have one or forget yours, we will have some on the foyer table.

3. We will avoid handshakes, hugs, and any other form of personal contact.

4. We will practice social distancing, keeping at least six feet between family units. Pews will be marked off to help us with this.

5. And also, we will enter a building that has been sanitized by the previous users.
